Lifetime Achievement Award-Roy became a member of this prestigious award by qualifying with over one hundred million in sales and over 10 years service with Re/Max.
Re/Max International Hall of Fame-Roy became a member of Re/Max’s second highest awards club in September 1993. Although Re/Max has over 120,000 agents World wide, few have achieved this prestigious award.
Platinum Club-Roy was the first Re/Max 3000 agent to become a member of this top producers award since it premiered in 1994, and continues to be a member since then.
President’s Distinguished Service Award-each year the Board of Realtors gives the award to a select few Realtors for their outstanding service to the Association. Roy was given the award in 1988 and 1996.

University of Nebraska-Roy graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1975 with a 5 year degree in Bachelors of Architecture including majors in Design and Business.
Graduate Real Estate Institute (GRI)-a professional designation he attained in 1984 to enhance his real estate career.
Certified Residential Specialist (CRS)-another professionally designation Roy earned in 1986 to further enhance his career. Roy was elected Treasurer for the CRS Colorado Council Chapter in 2001.
Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS)-Roy’s understanding of the needs of all clients is essential to a successful career. Attaining the CLHMS provides a deeper understanding of the high end clients’ needs which allows him to properly focus in marketing their home in the appropriate channels.
Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM)-Roy completed the rigorous training to become a CCIM member designee, and is knowledgeable about the commercial investment field. One more step to increase his knowledge base in assisting his clients with their real estate needs.

Colorado Association of Realtors Director-Roy served a 3 year term for his Board of Realtors, and was elected to represent the best interest of his Board and peers.
Local Board of Director-Roy was elected by his peers to represent them during the real estate crisis of the mid 1980’s. Roy was re-elected again as Director in 2006 for a 3 term.
Denver Metropolitan Commercial Association of Realtors (DMCAR)-Roy is a member and likes involvement in all aspects of real estate including the commercial real estate arena.
Association of Realtors Committees-He has chaired many committees with his peers in solving complex issues affecting our industry. His leadership abilities have enabled him in making the right choices with his peers to enhance the Local Real Estate Community.

Personal and Family information
Roy has been married since 1975 and has three wonderful boys. Roy enjoys the outdoors with his family which includes remote mountain biking, road biking, snow and water skiing, snow shoeing, commercial investment analysis.
Roy was originally born in Cuba and escaped to the United States in 1961 with his family at 11 years of age to avoid communism and start a new life in a free democratic society.
